This poster was created as part of an assignment for our Graphic Productions class. The project challenged us to design a poster that answers the question, “What is art?” I answered the question by stating that Art is for Everyone. To bring this idea to life visually, I invited ten children to recreate their own versions of famous artworks. I then placed their interpretations next to the originals to highlight the message that art should be accessible to all. My poster was voted on by my classmates to be printed for distribution at the Art and Design building at USM. My classmates and I were also able to take a trip and watch the print and production process for these posters at Bourne Brothers Printing in Hattiesburg.
